ANSACA Boss Hails Soludo at 66, Praises Transformational Leadership and Health Sector Reforms

AWKA, Nigeria – The Executive Director of the Anambra State AIDS Control Agency (ANSACA), Dr. Nkem Okeke, has congratulated the Governor of Anambra State, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on the occasion of his 66th birthday, describing him as a transformational leader whose bold reforms have significantly improved governance and healthcare delivery across the state.

In a goodwill message made available to journalists, Dr. Okeke praised Governor Soludo’s achievements over the past four years, particularly his administration’s far-reaching interventions in the health sector, which he said have positively impacted the lives of millions of Ndị Anambra.

“Your Excellency, this milestone offers us another opportunity to celebrate not only your life but also your exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the development of Anambra State. In just over four years, you have delivered what many considered impossible, transforming virtually every sector of the state’s economy,” Dr. Okeke stated.

The ANSACA Executive Director noted that the governor’s investments in healthcare infrastructure, procurement of modern medical equipment, and the introduction of free delivery services for pregnant women, alongside other free healthcare initiatives for women and children, have strengthened access to quality healthcare across the state.

According to him, Governor Soludo has also demonstrated strong political will in the fight against HIV/AIDS by supporting ANSACA’s mandate to curb the spread of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and improve public health outcomes.

“We are particularly delighted by your commitment to the health sector. Your administration has not only expanded healthcare infrastructure but has also prioritized the wellbeing of women, children, and vulnerable populations through impactful health policies. Your resolve to leverage ANSACA in ending the spread of HIV in Anambra is both commendable and inspiring,” he said.

Dr. Okeke reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to partnering with the Soludo administration in advancing public health initiatives, describing the governor as “a leader who genuinely cares for the health and welfare of his people.”

He concluded by wishing Governor Soludo continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in service to Anambra State and Nigeria.
