ADC Awka North-South House of Reps Candidate Pledges Full Representation if Elected

Candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Awka North and South federal constituency in the 2027 elections, Dominic Nwuzor has pledged not to take after his predecessors who disappear once they snatched victory only to reappear in the next election cycle if he wins the election.

Nwuzor who made the pledge in an interview in Awka on Sunday lamented that his federal constituency appeared dejected.

He said, “Whenever I come home, the youths will tell me that nothing is happening, there’s no development. They say they trust me and they believe in me. I’m somebody that whatever I say, you can take it to the bank. So it’s time for me to represent them.

“I have motivated them for a long time whenever I come home, because I have been involved in national politics.

“This is a divine mandate. So that is why I’m moved, because my mission is to save lots of families from Awka North and South, more especially to keep the youths engaged.

“Because when the youths are engaged, crying will reduce drastically, and it gives joy to the growth of the society. If they are doing something, everybody is okay.

“By God’s grace, my mission is about how we can make our youth to be engaged in skill acquisition and entertainment, which has to do with both football and film acting, which art I have interest in for a long time.

“Those with interest in going to school, we do our best and get scholarship for them as well as free health care for my people”

Nwuzor further decried the havoc erosion is causing his clan of Obizi, assuring that once he gets to the green chamber he will be able to write for ecological fund and attract those who would assist, at least solve that problem for his people.

“When campaign starts proper from August 19, I will start talking to voters who will be able to tell the people more of what I have done for them.

“You see, there’s one practice that happens all the time in elections, season after season. People will be elected, they will not come to the people. They will not see them, they will not answer their phone, they will not do anything.

“Once it gets close to another election, they start buying this, buying that, it is deception. Because anybody who is doing that, what he is interested is for the people to vote for him or her after which they will run away, and you will not see them”.

He pledged that from day one, he will sit down with the people, various communities, various wards and discuss with them.

“People can say, we need school. Some people can say they need water, others can say they want they need jobs for their children; different problems. So, we sit down and harmonise them and draw the budget.
