A disturbing incident in Onitsha, Anambra State, has reportedly led to the arrest of a woman accused of stabbing her young househelp with a pair of scissors during a heated confrontation.

According to eyewitness accounts from the neighborhood, the woman, said to be an indigene of Enugu State, allegedly became enraged after discovering that her young househelp from Ebonyi State had physically disciplined the toddler under her care.

Instead of reporting the matter or seeking a non-violent resolution, the employer allegedly retaliated by attacking the girl with a sharp pair of scissors, leaving residents stunned by the severity of the response.

“Everyone was shocked by what happened. No disagreement should ever end in violence,” a resident reportedly said.

The ensuing commotion attracted concerned neighbors, who promptly alerted the local vigilante group. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody pending further investigation.
