A former Anambra State governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Chief Rommy Okoli on Sunday urged Nigerians especially youths to punish the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the atrocities they have jointly committed against the nation.

He said the youths have important and strategic role to play in the next general elections so as to reclaim the nation from the hands of persons who do not mean well for them.

Speaking at the occasion of his 60th birthday party put together for him by his children, Okoli thanked God for the grace and privilege of making it to sixty at a time when life expectancy in Nigeria is less than forty.

He said, “My 60th birthday message is that I want the youths to punish the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for destroying their future and plundering our common patrimony in 2023 presidential, National and State Assembly Elections.

“The time is now, His Excellency Peter Obi and Senator Yusuff Datti Ahmed will rescue and rebuild Nigeria from it’s economic, security, nepotic, vision less despotic regimes of APC and PDP.

“I urge the youths to take back their country and punish APC and it’s twin brother PDP with their votes. We have suffered enough in Nigeria, so I plead with the Almighty God to please be merciful, forgive our sins and grant us freedom from our oppressors.

“The problems, trouble and hardship we face everyday in Nigeria is unbearable. May God arise and come to our rescue for the benefit of our future and humanity.”

Okoli, former governorship aspirant and former chairman of Nnewi South Local Goverment Area prayed for a united and prosperous nation where good governance, rule of law, fairness, equity will engender development, peace, love and economic emancipation of the citizens.
