UNIZIK Vice Chancellor, Prof. Anyaehie Nominated for NOA Honorary Fellowship Award

The Nigerian Optometric Association (NOA) has announced the nomination of Vice Chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra state, Prof Bond Anyaehie into its prestigious Honorary Fellowship.

Chairman, Education Committee of the Nigerian Optometric Association, Dr. Augustine Akujobi made the disclosure during a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor in his office.

Presenting the Honorary Fellowship Nomination Letter and invitation to their forthcoming Annual Scientific Conference and Vision Expo in collaboration with the African Council of Optometry (AFCO), Akujiobi said the VC would be honoured in recognition of his distinguished contributions to academic and institutional development.

He praised the VC for his administrative reforms and innovations at the institution within the few months of his assumption of office.

Receiving the delegation, the VC appreciated the association for the honour and the invitation, reaffirming the university’s commitment to supporting professional bodies and advancing healthcare-related collaborations.
