Nonye Soludo Celebrates Anambra Daughter Iruoma Osele After Winning Miss Continental World 2026

Wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, has congratulated Miss Iruoma Osele, from Umueze Village, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, following her emergence as Miss Continental World 2026 in Thailand.

Osele also clinched three additional honours at the international pageant: Queen of Africa, Best Physique and Best National Costume.

In a congratulatory statement, Soludo described the achievement as a proud moment for Anambra State and Nigeria, noting that the victory reflected the courage, confidence, resilience and immense potential of women.

She expressed optimism that Osele’s success would inspire young girls to pursue their ambitions, overcome barriers and aspire to greater heights.

“Congratulations to our daughter, Miss Iruoma Osele, from Umueze Village, Isuofia, Anambra State, on emerging Miss Continental World 2026 in faraway Thailand, alongside winning three additional honours: Queen of Africa, Best Physique and Best National Costume,” Soludo said.

“Your remarkable achievement is a proud moment for Anambra State and indeed Nigeria. It celebrates the bravery, confidence, resilience and limitless potential of women.”

The governor’s wife further expressed hope that the beauty queen’s accomplishment would encourage more girls to believe in their abilities and pursue their dreams without fear or limitation.

“May your victory inspire more girls to dream boldly, break barriers and reach for the highest heights, knowing that no dream is too big and no destination is beyond their reach,” she added.

Soludo also praised Osele for representing Anambra State on the international stage, describing her accomplishment as a source of pride for the state.

“You have carried Anambra to the world, and we are super, super proud of you. Congratulations, Queen!” she said.

Osele’s achievement places her among Anambra’s celebrated young talents and highlights the potential of young Nigerian women to make their mark on the international stage.
