UDUF Africa urges Leaders, Entrepreneurs to Explore AI for Sustainable Growth

Young leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals have been encouraged to embrace Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies to improve productivity, drive innovation and achieve sustainable business growth.

The call was made at the August Business Meeting and Mentorship Session of UDUF Africa held in Onitsha, Anambra State with the theme, “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Business Growth and Sustainable Success.”

The session provided participants with opportunity to examine practical ways of applying Artificial Intelligence to business operations, career development and professional activities.

Speaking on the theme, a Software Engineer, AI Automation Expert, Technology Educator and Co-Lead of Google Developer Groups, Onitsha, Nwite Nwabueze Jeremiah, highlighted the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in the modern business environment.

He urged participants to move beyond discussions about Artificial Intelligence and begin exploring practical ways of using the technology to automate tasks, improve productivity, develop new products and strengthen their businesses.

The presentation generated extensive interaction, with participants examining the opportunities and challenges associated with the growing use of Artificial Intelligence in the business world.

A major highlight of the event was the presentation of an Appreciation Award to Nwabueze in recognition of his contribution to the meeting and his commitment to knowledge sharing, technology education and empowering others.

The Continental President of UDUF Africa, Uchenna Christopher, also charged members, known as Uplifters, to take personal development, relationship building and service seriously.

He urged them to look beyond their present circumstances and prepare themselves for greater opportunities, stressing that membership of UDUF Africa should translate into personal growth and positive impact on society.

The Founder of UDUF Africa, Uplifter Chinedu Smart Ezuma, advised members not to become complacent with their achievements, saying success should serve as a foundation for further growth.

He encouraged the Uplifters to continue learning, embrace technology, build meaningful relationships and turn knowledge into practical results.

Ezuma also stressed the importance of consistency, discipline and patience, noting that lasting success requires continuous improvement and a commitment to positively influencing other lives.

The meeting featured review of the UDUF Africa Book of the Month, The Spirit of Leadership by Dr. Myles Munroe, facilitated by Uplifter Ifeanyi Ebenezer.

The book review focused on leadership, purpose, responsibility and personal potential, with participants reminded that technological advancement must be supported by strong character and responsible leadership.

The programme also featured parliamentary engagement, interactive discussions, networking and mentorship, providing participants with opportunities to share experiences and explore areas of collaboration.

The networking session further strengthened relationships among entrepreneurs, professionals and other Uplifters.

The August Business Meeting reinforced the need for individuals and businesses to embrace emerging technologies, invest in continuous learning, build meaningful professional relationships and remain adaptable in a rapidly changing economy.

Participants were also encouraged to combine technical skills with effective leadership and use their achievements as a platform to create opportunities and positively impact their communities.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by UDUF Africa to its vision of “Connect, Inspire and Transform Communities” through leadership development, mentorship, knowledge sharing and sustainable professional growth.
