Speaking shortly after the handover ceremony, Oyedoh congratulated the new Comptroller on his appointment, expressing confidence in his capacity to deliver.

He said, “I’m glad I did my bit while I could, going by experience; I know the new Comptroller will add a lot of value, coming directly from the Service headquarters.

“NIS Anambra Command will take a new shape, especially in the area of efficient service delivery.

“The Command is peaceful and there is a great synergy between the command and the State Government. I wish him a successful tenure in Anambra as he assumes office today.”

Addressing his maiden management meeting, Nwanegbo described his posting to Anambra as God breathed, just as he sought better collaboration from the Command’s management team.

He pledged to improve on the achievements of his predecessor and to build on the good name the Command had already gained as an organisation.
