AtPeace Neuro Center Boss, Nnaemeka Bags NACP Fellowship Award, Vows Greater Impacts

The Chief Medical Therapist and Rehabilitator, At Peace Neuro Centre and Hospital Awka Anambra State, Dr Casmir Nnaemeka has pledged to redouble his efforts in neurological services after receiving the Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists (NACP) fellowship award.

Dr. Nnaemeka, who operates one of the best private psychotherapy center in Nigeria, with its base in Awka, Anambra State, was honoured by the association for his dedication and professional achievements at the fellowship induction ceremony and honours event held in Abuja.

AnambraDaily gathered that the Canada trained expert bagged one of the highest honour in the profession, for his excellent roles in public service, entrepreneurship, and community development in the healthcare sector.

Speaking after the event Dr. Nnaemaka, remarked that the recognition was not merely an accolade but a call to higher responsibility for him.
He praised the association for deeming it fit to recognise his efforts and confer on him an award of highest standard by Nigerian Psychological Association.

He said: “Iโ€™m a fellow Blessing me there, meaning more tasks. I need to struggle, I need to work harder to make sure that what make them give me this, make them and make me sustainable.

He promised to double his efforts and work towards making greater impacts in the profession.

“I’m going to double, let me use the palace language, double my hustle.

“Before, there are so many things I can do and go through, but right now, just like you guys are doing now, the satellite is on me. I need to be more careful, more sensitive, more homely, and more especially, more NACP beach than any other fellow.

This paper learnt that the induction ceremony brought together key stakeholders, medical experts, scientifics, development partners, representatives of security agencies, and government officials to discuss the growing mental health challenges affecting Nigerians under the theme: โ€œMental Health Emergency in Nigeria: The Role of Clinical Psychologistsโ€.

“It was also organized to celebrate medical experts and spotlight individuals who have made meaningful contributions to Nigeria and Africa at large”, a member of the organizers said.
