Labour Party governorship candidate in Anambra State, Dr. George Moghalu has called on Ndi Anambra to unite behind a bold vision to reclaim and rebuild the state.
Speaking during an engagement with the Ikoyi-Lekki Link Association, led by Chief Charles Odunukwe, Moghalu emphasized that transformative leadership begins with collective action and grassroots commitment.
โVictory demands a shared dream, a united front, and people determined to shape their destiny. I cannot do this without you,โ he told the gathering.
While identifying security as the foundation of development, The LP flagbearer regretted how fear and instability have crippled livelihoods and economic activity across Anambra, vowing to prioritize restoring peace and rebuilding public confidence.
He also decried the substandard condition of roads in the state, noting how many fail after just one rainy season.
โWe cannot normalize failure. Poor infrastructure is not a stroke of bad luckโit is the result of weak leadership and lack of accountability,โ he said.
Addressing the recent deregulation of electricity, Moghalu described it as a golden opportunity for Anambra to lead Nigeria in energy independence.
โThe capacity is there. If any state should pioneer power reform, it is Anambra. We just need the leadership.โ
He appealed for unity and people-oriented governance: โTogether, we can deliver the kind of leadership our people truly deserve.โ
