Ex-Fedpoly Oko Rector Appointed Member Ohanaeze Professorial Endowment C’ttee

Former Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, Prof. Godwin Onu has been appointed as a member of the Professorial Endowment Committee of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo.

Onu’s appointment was formally confirmed with the letter of appointment presented by the President-General of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Distinguished Senator John Azuta-Mbata, at the organizationโ€™s headquarters in Enugu.

The erudite scholar from the Department of Political Science, Nnamdi Azikiwe University is a respected authority in public policy and administration, ethnic studies, federalism, and international relations.

His scholarly contributions and leadership experience continue to shape discourse on governance and development across Nigeria.

Onu is scheduled to deliver a landmark keynote paper titled “Harnessing the Power of Interstate Collaboration to Unlock the South-Eastโ€™s Full Economic Potentials” at the inaugural AT Roundtable hosted by Anambra Times.

The roundtable slated for June 19 at the Hilton Leisure Resort and Hotel, Awka would be chaired by Distinguished Senator Victor Umeh, who represents Anambra Central Senatorial District and currently serves as Chairman of the Senate Committee on National Identity and Population.

With his new role in the Professorial Endowment Committee and his forthcoming lecture, Onu is poised to make significant contributions to both intellectual discourse and strategic planning for the advancement of the South-East region.

His inclusion in the committee marks a vital step in harnessing academic excellence for cultural and regional development.
