Solution Football club of Awka in their match- day 8 NNL match played at Awka City Stadium defeated Madiba FC of Lagos by 4 -1.
The match which started on a very high tempo with Solution team dictating the pace. That saw them take the lead through Valentine Ugwu in the third minute as he carefully placed the ball beyound the reach of Madiba goal tender, Tijani Mohamed.
The Madiba team through one of their attackers, Anthony Ndubisi capitalized in a counter attack move, sold a dummy to the Solution defenders and equalized in the 10th minute of match.
From that moment, the two sides showed a lot skills and guts until the 37th minute when Charles Egbe scored the second goal for Solution FC thus making sure they led 2 – 1 till the halftime break.
Godwin Okoyeatu struck exactly in the 49th minute when played resumed to put Solution FC 3 – 1 up. The Madiba players try to take over the midfield but the rijiged Solution team stood their ground and after both teams made some changes, Solution FC in well coordinated move, reminicent of Liaonel Messi move struck in 87th minute to make it 4 – 1 in favour of Solution FC and to the joy of their supporters and appreciable crowd that watched the match

The Madiba team tried all they could to reduce the tally even within the additional four minutes added, the match ended Solution FC 4 Madiba FC 1.
In a post match interview, Madiba FC Tactician, Solomon Bala stated that his team though they lost, is a new team as most the players have just resumed with club.
‘As you can see yourself, we are trying to put things together. All my old players non of them is here.
‘ when we go into the game proper, we have noticed the lapses but we will work on it ‘ he said.
He described the Solution FC team as good in all departments of the game.
‘they are good , they are fantastic , ball possession, precision , you see them up and doing, they are good and you can’t take it away from them ‘ he stated.
He described the officiating of match as very poor and remarked that ‘in this case if our referees could not change, they will not help Nigeria football’.
In his remarks, the Solution FC Head Coach, Emmanuel Dutsh praised the efforts of his players for their discipline and playing to instructions.
Dutsh, who is from Cameroun, promissed to correct the lapses he noticed especially in their attack.
