Ex-Anambra Governor, Dame Etiaba Eulogies Obiano, Ngige on Their 67th, 70th Birthdays

The first Nigerian female Governor, Dame Virgy Etiaba has described two former Governors of the state, Chief Willie Obiano and Dr. Chris Ngige as great assets to the state.

In her goodwill message to the two former State Chief Executives as they celebrate their 67th and 70th birthdays respectively, Dame Virgy noted that the two former governors contributed immensely to the rapid development of the state.

Etiaba, who was a former Governor and Deputy Governor of the state, maintained that the tenures of Chief Obiano and Dr.Ngige witnessed tremendous transformation of the state especially in road infrastructure and human development.

She expressed satisfaction that the two former Governors immortalized their names through good governance, noting that while Chief Obiano bequeathed the state a signature project, the Anambra International Airport as well as including the state among the oil producing states in the country. Dr Ngige on his part is being celebrated for developing the entire communities in the state with solid roads in addition to stopping the menace of political godfathers in the state.

The Dr-Governor enjoined Ndi Anambra to continue to accord the two former Governors the necessary respect and support to enable them to excel in their respective endeavours and prayed God to give them peace at all times.
