NPC Dismisses Fake Viral Census Adhoc Staff Recruitment Processes By Happiness Chidume

The National Population Commission (NPC) has distances itself from the recently recruitment exercise for adhoc staff that would participate in the 2023 national census.

The commission in a press release dated July 18, dissociates itself from the vacancy advertisement in circulation on the social media, stressing that it’s recruitment portal for ongoing trial census was no longer active and was temporarily shut down.

The statement signed by its Director of Public Affairs, Mr Isiaka Yahaya further disclosed that the information circulating on social media about it’s recruitment process was “false and misleading and should therefore be treated as scam by fraudsters to swindle members of the public, particularly Job applicants.

Yahaya further disclosed that the commission was taking proactive measures to bring to book all those involved in this fraudulent act.

AnambraDaily recall that on May 30, 2022 the commission announced on its official website, the date and process of recruitment for the recently concluded trial census.
