Why I followed Peter Obi to Labour Party -Senator Umeh

Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Senator Victor Umeh says he decided to defect to the Labour Party (LP) to be able to fight side by side with Peter Obi.

Umeh who is flying Labour Party’s flag for the Anambra Central Senatorial District told newsmen in Awka on Tuesday that it was a decision he made for the people.

“One of the reasons why I accepted the urge to join the Labour Party was because it avails me the opportunity to reconcile and reunite with my brother Peter Obi once again for the interest of our people.

“When Peter and I started the APGA movement, many people derided us. They never thought it was possible but eventually, we were able to succeed and made APGA strong in Anambra State.

” So, being with him again in the present journey, let the people have hope and not discouragement…Everyone should get his or her PVC ready, to get things right in this country.
