The certificatation follows the completion of a government-sponsored training programme that lasted for months and organized by Lextech Verbatim Reporting Academy.

Speaking at the Anambra State Verbatim Court Reporting Batch 2 Graduation Ceremony held at the Judiciary Headquarters, Awka, the state Chief Judge, Justice Onochie Anyachebelu, hailed Anambra Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo for demonstrating a strong commitment to digitalizing the judiciary in the state.

She charged the graduands to faithfully implement all they were taught and to show dedication in their duties as judiciary staff.

Earlier in his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of Lextech Ecosystem Limited, Barrister Emeka Albert, said the Batch 2 graduation ceremony is a consolidation of the vision championed by Governor Soludo, whose commitment to building a digital economy for Ndi Anambra has continued to drive transformative reforms across critical sectors, including the judiciary, adding that the openness to innovation, cooperation and willingness of the Chief Judge and other Judges of the state to embrace technology-driven adjudication have been instrumental in translating reform from policy into practice.

On his part, the Principal of Lextech Verbatim Reporting Academy, Mr Olujide Adediran, noted that in assisting Anambra Judges to stop writing in longhand, the conduct of the court reporters must reflect the seriousness of the trust placed in them; as judges, counsels, litigants and the Nigerian appellate process rely on them.

On behalf of her colleagues, the overall best graduand, Mary-Jane Nwosu, appreciated the Anambra State Government and Lextech Ecosystem Limited for equipping them with the necessary skills.
