Aguata, Anaocha, Njikoka, Idemili South Teams Reach Nonye Soludo Volleyball Championship Semis

Four female teams have progressed to the semi finals in the ongoing 2nd edition of Nonye Soludo Volleyball competition taking place at the Doctor Alex Ekwueme square Awka, Anambra State.

The four teams that made it out of 16 local government areas that enlisted for the competition are Aguata, Njikoka , Anaocha and Idemili South.

The Cordinator of the Nonye Soludo Volleyball competition, Coach Uche Okafor said the first semi final match will be between Aguata a d Njikoka while Anaocha and Idemili South will slug it out in the second game which will be decided on the 20th of December 2025.

Loosers of each game is expected to settle for the third place game while the winners will compete for the finals also billed to take place at the Doctor Alex Ekwueme square on the 20th of December as well.

The Wife of Anambra state Governor Mrs Nonye Soludo who initiated the tournament expressed confidence that in the end, the discovered talents will help you boost the state Volleyball team to represent the state in national competitions.
