Funny Bone Thrills Audience as Nwoke Udi Palmwine Bar Awka Hosts Big Weekend Xperience Show.

It was an unforgettable night of laughter, music, dance, and pure excitement as fun seekers converged on Nwoke Udi Palmwine Bar, Awka, for the Ember Edition of the Big Weekend Xperience, powered by the Nigerian Breweries.

The award-winning relaxation spot was filled to capacity as thousands of both new and returning customers enjoyed premium entertainment. The show was brilliantly anchored by Nollywood actor and celebrated comedian Funny Bone, with DJ Banks setting the rhythm from the music booth.

Designed to deliver high-energy performances, immersive brand interactions, and cultural celebration, the Big Weekend Xperience once again lived up to expectations—delighting residents of Awka and its environs who frequently troop to Nwoke Udi Palmwine Bar for relaxation.

For many fun lovers, including Miss Amara Silver Moon, the event was a night to remember filled with laughter, music, and quality time with friends and loved ones.

The Anambra-born comedian, Funny Bone, kept the crowd in high spirits as he took them on a nostalgic journey through old-school music, inviting guests to sing along to evergreen tunes that left the audience in awe and amusement.

Adding more spice to the night, Nigerian Breweries introduced highlife maestro and “One One B” crooner, Onyeze Nwa Amobi, who electrified the crowd with hit tracks that left them demanding more.

As expected, Abakiliki Street was buzzing with excitement as nearby bars took advantage of the massive turnout to make sales, all thanks to Nwoke Udi Palmwine Bar for attracting the Big Weekend Xperience for the third consecutive time.

Guests were spoiled with a rich variety of delicacies, including barbecue, roasted chicken, ugba, abacha, palm wine, vegetable snail, peppered goat meat, stockfish, chicken vegetable, and more.

The night also featured raffle draws conducted by Nigerian Breweries Limited (NBL), where many customers went home with exciting prizes such as refrigerators, plasma televisions, cartons of Life Lager Beer, and numerous instant giveaways.

During the presentation of prizes, the Managing Director of Nwoke Udi Palmwine Bar, Mazi Ndubuisi Eze, expressed gratitude to the Big Weekend Xperience team for choosing his establishment once again as the host venue.

In his closing remarks, Mazi Eze reaffirmed the bar’s commitment to excellence “We are not going to stop serving you or giving you that unique experience you crave. Even greater things are coming. Our partnership with Nigerian Breweries is a blessing we deeply appreciate. Thank you so much for always coming around.”

He further announced that Nwoke Udi Palmwine Bar will mark its 10th anniversary in January, celebrating a decade of successful business on Abakiliki Street.

As part of upcoming festivities, he revealed that beginning Thursday, 27th November, the bar will host its annual New Yam Festival, where customers will be treated to free roasted yam, plantain, and ukpaka delicacies.

The New Yam Festival running from Thursday to Sunday will feature captivating performances by Ausuma Malaika, Eze York, and several other talented artists.
