Anambra Govt Shutdown Private School in Awka over Unfit Learning Environment

Anambra state Government has ordered immediate shutdown of Great Mind Academy over unhealthy environment.

Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh announced the closure after an inspection visit to the school located behind old Government House, beside Milatel Hotel Awka.

The Commissioner found the environment unfit for educational pursuit of the children.

She directed the Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra (OCHA Brigade) to ensure immediate implementation of the order.
