National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe has described outstanding performances of Governor Chukwuma Soludo as akin to nine-months old pregnancy impossible to be covered with bare hands.
He said Soludo was confident of victory in the governorship election because his administration achievements in the State spoke for itself.
Obigwe who was reacting to a story of cash for vote against Gov. Chukwuma Soludo, described the report as fabricated lie of opposition elements in the Nov. 8 governorship election in Anambra.
He said the story was being peddled by the opposition who had read the handwriting on the wall, foreseen their defeat in the election and resorted to the use of blackmail against the governor.
According to him, Soludo did not promise cash for vote but only promised reward for awards that emerged that took 1st , 2nd and 3rd positions in every local government.
“This childish blackmail cannot save them on Nov. 8, they will definitely have a taste of defeat which is clearly staring them on their faces.
“Governor Soludo did not at any time promise cash for vote; rather what the governor did was to encourage a healthy competition for APGA faithful in the 21 local government areas of the State.
“The Electoral Act 2022 did not criminalise motivational reward after election rather the Electoral act criminalised voter inducement which is giving someone money to vote for you.
“Soludo had done well in the State and that his good works can as well be likened to a nine months old pregnancy that cannot be covered with bare hands.
“I see Anambra opposition elements as Ali and one sacrosanct fact they must take to the bank is that Ali must die and be buried politically on Nov. 8,” he noted.
