Anambra Agency Reiterates Commitment to Upholding Family Values, Cultural Renewal

Anambra State Civic and Social Reformation Office (ANCISRO), Awka has re-assured of commitment of Governor Chukwuma Soludo led administration towards upholding family and parental values in the state.

Managing Director, Sir Chuka Nnabuife disclosed this while presenting comprehensive report on Agency’s program within the periods of 2024 and 2025 as part of activities marking one year anniversary of the office.

He said the office had been advocating discipline in parenting and family value reformation in various communities across the state.

He said, “Within its inaugural year, my office has recorded remarkable achievements and emerged as a strong advocate for cultural renewal and values reformation among Ndi-Anambra.

“Above all, we’ve been championing civic responsibility, social consciousness and sustainable development.

“Through short films, books, lectures, street campaign, radio jingles, podcast, and school outreach programmes, ANCISRO has worked consistently to strengthen relationship between the state and the society.

“Again, the office had within the period under review, instilled civic values and inspired hope among Ndi-Anambra, particularly the youths. The report presents our key activities for the past one year.”

Nnabuife further revealed that his agency has reached over one million people via radio, television and social media as well as engaged more than 10,000 students through their school outreach programmes in the state.

“We have participated in over a dozen conferences, and seminars across the state and collaborated with four Anambra based civil society organizations as well as produced over 20 jingles, films and publications all geared towards shaping public behaviour,” he added.

Nnabuife, former Managing Director, Anambra State Newspaper and Printing Corporation, maintained that the office had in its first year of operation, established itself as dynamic institution, driving civic and social reformation in the State.

“By integrating cultural advocacy with modern communication strategy, the office has inspired citizens, particularly the young people to embrace individual and social responsibility, discipline and values-driven approaches to development,” he said.

Toasting the anniversary wine, Managing Director, Anambra State Wast Management Authority (ASWAMA), Awka, Sir Mike Ozoemena prayed for holistic progress of the office and Anambra state.

He also assured landslide victory of Governor Chukwuma Soludo at the polls, come November 8 election in the state.

The event which featured cutting of the anniversary cake was attended by former Commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu, member Nigerian Guild of Editors, Sir Victor Agusiobor and President-General of Amoka community in Ihiala Local Government Area, Pastor Nehemiah Amahiri, among others.
