ICT Agency Boss Reaffirms Soludo’s Pledge to Transform Anambra to Nigeria’s Digital, Creative Capital

Managing Director, Anambra State ICT Agency, Fred Agbata has reaffirmed Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s pledge in the People’s Manifesto to transform Anambra into Nigeria’s digital and creative capital.

Speaking to newsmen at the Agency, Agbata who doubles as Convener of Geeks and Founders Alliance for Soludo (GEFAS) referenced Governor’s blueprint on page 19 of the manifesto.

He noted that the digital agenda is anchored on deliberate investments in infrastructure, digital skills, innovation, entrepreneurship, social development, and economic transformation through technology and the creative economy.

According to him, bold decisions such as the waiver of Right of Way fees have already unlocked broadband expansion, boosted digital capacity, and laid the foundation for a vibrant digital economy.

“With another four years, these gains will not only be deepened but will firmly position Anambra as Nigeria’s hub for digital innovation and the creative economy,” he stated.

The ICT Agency boss further emphasized that as Convener of GEFAS, the group remains committed to the 4 + 4 mandate, consistently taking the message to the people and reinforcing belief in the state’s digital future.

“With Mr. Governor, the digital promise is real. Solution continues, and Anambra is rising,” he affirmed.
