Vinkate Int’l Schools Pledges Quality Education, Scholarships, Free Holiday Lessons

  • Commences Secondary School Program-September

Vinkate International Schools, located in Odume Layout Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, is excited to announce the commencement of its Secondary School Program in September 2025.

The award-winning school is offering scholarships to outstanding pupils and is implementing a special promotion: the first 50 students who enroll will benefit from reduced registration fees and free access to holiday lessons.

During the 2024/2025 Graduation and Awards Ceremony held at No. 37 Umuoji Street, the school’s Proprietress, Hon. Amb. Obi Iwuchukwu Chinwenma, announced that Vinkate, which has successfully operated Creche, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Primary School programs for over a decade, will now expand to include secondary education.

In her speech, she highlighted, “Today, we celebrate our graduates who showcase exceptional academic performance, leadership qualities, and admirable character. We are extremely proud of them and confident they will succeed in their future endeavors.”

She encouraged the community to explore what Vinkate Schools has to offer, stating, “Our Secondary School will officially start in September. Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to invest in your child’s education!” She also celebrated the school’s achievements in external competitions, noting that students performed remarkably, including:

  • 2nd place in Dance
  • 3rd place in Drawing (Master Chisom Ikegbuso)
  • 5th place in English (Miss Sophia Maduabuchukwu)

Additionally, Miss Iheoma Ihezie was awarded the Golden Bag as the Senior Prefect of Idemili North LGA, and Miss Favor Lebeigwe won a second award presented by the Mayor’s wife, Hon. Mrs. Ebele Nkwoka. This marks the first graduation ceremony where awards were presented to both students and teachers.

Amb. Obi Iwuchukwu stressed the importance of the upcoming Secondary School Program and announced semi-free registration for the first term, along with free holiday lessons, as a support for families facing financial difficulties. She awarded two scholarships for one term each to Miss Ihuoma Ihezie, the new Head Girl, and Princess Chinedu, who played a judge in the graduation drama.

She also appealed for financial support from the public and private sectors, including contributions toward completing the school building, sinking a borehole, and purchasing a new school bus, as well as sponsorship for inter-house sports competitions.

High Chief Obiwenite Iwuchukwu Ibemesi, the Proprietor, shared his passion for education, stating, “Education is the best investment you can make in your children. I believe our students, who receive quality education here, will excel in their chosen careers, whether as doctors, lawyers, or even presidents.”

Mr. Tony Efobi, Chairman of the Occasion and Obosi Youth Leader, emphasized the importance of education, encouraging parents to make it a priority. He said, “There is no amount too large for giving your children a good education.”

Mr. Chinedu Chukwuneke, father of the new Igwe Simon Chukwuneke of Vinkate Schools, expressed happiness over the Secondary School Program and praised the quality of education at Vinkate. “I hope more parents will discover this school’s excellence,” he remarked.

Dignitaries and parents alike praised the school’s management, teachers, and students for their achievements, expressing confidence that the Secondary School Program will maintain the high standards that Vinkate International Schools is known for.
