Labour Party Governorship Candidate Chief (Dr.) George Moghalu has restated his commitment to an honest, visionary, and accountable leadership if elected come November 8, 2025.
He said he was coming to change the narrative and restore people’s confidence in governance.
Moghalu, in a statement to wish the people of the state happy new month, said Anambra deserves leadership that places people above politics and service above self.
He urged residents to rise as one people, with one purpose to reclaim the dignity of governance and rebuild the Anambra of their dreams.
He said, “As we step into the month of June, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to every Anambra son and daughter. Happy New Month. May this new chapter bring peace, progress, and renewed hope to you and your families.
“This month marks the official start of the 2025 Governorship campaign season — a crucial moment in our shared journey toward a better Anambra.
“As Labour party Governorship Candidate, I come before you with humility, vision, and deep commitment to the future of our great state.
“Let it be known: we are coming to change the narrative and restore our people’s confidence in governance. Anambra deserves leadership that is honest, visionary, and accountable — leadership that places people above politics and service above self.
“Our campaign will be driven by the firm belief that “Anambra Ga Adi Mma Ozo!” — Anambra will be better again! This is not just a slogan. It is a declaration of intent and a reflection of the hope we all share for a brighter tomorrow.
“In the days ahead, we will be meeting with you — in your communities, markets, churches, and homes — to listen, to engage, and to share this vision of restoration and renewal. Together, we will begin a movement built on trust, inclusion, and action.
“Let us rise as one people, with one purpose — to reclaim the dignity of our governance and rebuild the Anambra of our dreams.”
