Suspected 20-Year-Old Armed Robbery Gang Member Arrested in Nnewi

Police Operatives under the Anambra State Police Command have arrested a 20-year man, Nnaji Chukwuka in Nnewichi, Nnewi North Local Government of the state.

Police spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga who disclosed this on Friday said the suspect is a member of an armed robbery gang and Motorcycle snatcher terrorizing the area.

He said arrest followed painstaking efforts of the Operatives who have monitored the pattern of the criminal operations and based on a series of complaints about the activities of the gang in the area.

“The suspect has made useful statements that is aiding the investigation for possible arrest of the other gang members.

“Meanwhile, the owner of the stolen motorcycle has been identified and the bike released accordingly.”
