Labour Party Governorship Candidate, Anambra State, Chief Dr. George Moghalu on Tuesday said he was committed to building a state where every child could learn freely, grow safely, and thrive boldly.

Moghalu, in his statement to mark 2025 Children’s Day, said his vision is to raise a generation of Anambra children who are bold, brilliant, and prepared for the world.

He described sacrifices of parents, caregivers, and educators as the seeds of greatness in our children, urging them to nurture the young ones with love, discipline, and opportunity.

He said, “The world comes together to celebrate Children’s Day, I join families, teachers, and leaders across Anambra to honor you—our young stars, our innocent hearts, and our living hope for tomorrow.

“Today is a reminder that you matter deeply. Your dreams count. Your voices are important. Your joy is the melody of a better Anambra.

“I am committed to building a state where every child can learn freely, grow safely, and thrive boldly. Our children deserve more than promises—they deserve action.

“From better schools to modern playgrounds, from safe communities to quality healthcare, I pledge to be a leader who puts your future first.

“No child must be left behind. Whether you live in Awka or Ogbaru, Nnewi or Nsugbe, your dreams are valid, and your journey matters. My vision is simple: to raise a generation of Anambra children who are bold, brilliant, and prepared for the world.

“To the parents, caregivers, and educators—thank you. Your sacrifices are the seeds of greatness in our children. Together, we must nurture these young ones with love, discipline, and opportunity.

“On this special day, I urge every child to believe in their dreams. Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep believing.

“Happy Children’s Day! You are loved. You are valued. You are the future.”
