Umobi Appoints UNIZIK’s Ex-Information Director as Her Media, Strategy Aide

Former Director of Information and Public Relations, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra state, Dr. Emmanuel Ojukwu has been appointed Special Adviser on Media and Strategy by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof Carol Arinze-Umobi.

According to a statement by the Acting VC, Ojukwu’s appointment took effect on Tuesday, 20th May 2025.

While congratulating the Media Adviser, Arinze-Umobi expressed confidence that Ojukwu would bring on board years of experience to this role.

The statement reads, “The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof Carol Arinze-Umobi has appointed Dr. Emmanuel C. Ojukwu as Special Adviser on Media and Strategy.

“Until he was appointed Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, he was the Director of Information and Public Relations and served in a similar role during Prof Esimone’s administration.

“The appointment took effect on Tuesday, 20th May 2025.

“Dr Ojukwu will bring on board years of experience to this role. Congratulations Dr Emmanuel C. Ojukwu”
