Pinelaaf Estate Boss Urges Traders To Uphold Truthfulness and Integrity in Business

Pinelaaf Estate and Homes CEO Archbishop Onyeka Nzekwesi (Chinakaribeya) has urged traders to do their business in truthfulness and integrity if they want to attract more customers and have good success.

The real estate mogul gave the advise at Chuba IKpeazu Stadium, Onitsha during the Anambra State Markets Amalgamated Traders’ Association ASMATA 2026 annual Traders day celebration shortly after receiving a special award gift for his philanthropy and investment in sports, security and lighting towards improving the welfare, lives and property of Traders.

“I urge traders to maintain good reputation and integrity as you do business, in time to come you will no longer be looking for customers. If a customer buys today and enjoys your good product he will refer some other person to come to your shop for quality products.

“Pinelaaf Group partners with traders by assisting to ensure steady electricity some markets,curb criminal activities in the market through the installation of 24 hour Ai CCTV camera surveillance, Establishment of automated car parks,” Nzekwesi said.

Earlier in his welcome address, ASMATA President General, Chief Humphrey Anuna (Onwa Oraeri)expressed gratitude to God and the Governor of Anambra State thanking the traders for their collective cooperation to boost the IGR of the state.

“We are gathered here today to celebrate our hard work, reflect on the journey we have traveled, and deliberate on the path ahead. Despite the economic challenges and shifting market conditions we navigate daily, our solidarity has remained unwavering.

“Today is a day to recognize our collective achievements, share ideas, and chart a course that will foster growth and prosperity for all our traders.

“We are deeply honored to have our invited Government Officials in our midst today. Your presence here demonstrates Prof. Charles Soludo administration’s commitment to the grassroots economy and the welfare of small business owners.

“We remain committed to partnering with the government to ensure our markets remain peaceful, sanitized, and conducive to commerce.

“To my fellow traders, you are the backbone of our local economy. It is through your relentless toil and sweat from sunrise to sunset that our communities thrive.

“Over the past three years, our association has continually prioritized your welfare, working tirelessly to improve security within the markets through Installation of CCTV cameras across Markets starting with New Parts Market Nkpor in partnership with GOFRAN Limited; a subsidiary of Pineleaf Estate & Property Limited.

Other achievement include Increment of Government IGR from about #400Million to #4.2Billion, carried out First ASMATA Medical Checkup across the seven zones of the Markets that oversaw thousands of traders participated actively.

Speaking at the event, Soludo who was ably represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Engineer Michael Obiekwe, said that such an occasion brings about unity and interactions among the traders. “It is a thing of joy for us to gather here to celebrate the hard working traders of Anambra States.

The permanent Secretary who also represented the Commissioner for Commerce, Hon. Ebonwu, urged the traders to continue to support the state government and their market leaders, stressed the need for security consciousness warning that, “We must be security conscious.”he said.

Moreso, New Auto Spare Parts Market Nkpor, Chairman Chief Stephen Ofoleh (Award) also described Traders day as a day of celebration and retrospect, taking stock and also unwinding for traders and business owners in Anambra State thanking Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his various reforms in the markets and infrastructural development in the entire state.
