Anambra’s Vivian Ebisi Shines at NITDA Women in ICT Program, Wins Best Candidate Award from South East Zone

In a moment of regional pride and national inspiration, Vivian Onyinyechi Ebisi, a standout representative from Anambra State, has been honored as the Best Candidate from the South East Zone at the closing ceremony of the 2025 Women in ICT Training and Empowerment Program.

The prestigious award, announced in Abuja, highlights Ebisi’s exceptional performance among eight talented women from Anambra who participated in the intensive training phase.

Organized by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in partnership with the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) of Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the program aims to equip women and girls with cutting-edge digital skills to drive innovation and economic empowerment.

Mrs Nonye Soludo, wife of Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, who shared the joyous news via social media, expressed profound pride in the cohort’s dedication.

She said “I’m super proud of my girls and the great efforts they have invested into the whole exercise,”

Mrs Soludo extended special gratitude to Nigeria’s First Lady and RHI National Chairman, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her visionary leadership in forging the NITDA-RHI collaboration.

“Her passion for the growth and development of women and girls has made this great opportunity possible,”Mrs Soludo added.

The initiative, part of broader efforts to bridge the gender digital divide, provided participants with hands-on training in information and communications technology, fostering resilience and future-ready expertise.

Ebisi’s triumph not only celebrates individual excellence but also underscores Anambra’s growing reputation as a hub for female tech talent in the South East.
