Over 70 Newly Passed-out Police Constables Deploy to Anambra

Anambra State Police Command on Wednesday received fresh deployment of over 70 newly passed-out constables from the Police Training College, Oji River, Enugu State.

Spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga who disclosed this in a statement said the new officers were expected to strengthen manpower capacity across the nation and enhance community policing at the grassroots level.

“The new officers, who recently completed their training, form part of the ongoing efforts of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun to strengthen the manpower capacity across the Federation and enhance community policing at the grassroots level.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu has assured the good people of Anambra State that the officers would be deployed strategically across divisions and formations to enhance visibility policing, intelligence gathering, and prompt response to security situations,” he said.
