Bye-elections: Moghalu Hails INEC Officials over Smooth Poll in Nnewi

Labour Party Governorship Candidate, Dr. George Moghalu has commended officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the smooth conduct of the exercise.
Speaking briefly after casting his vote in his polling unit at Obi Okpunoeze, Uruagu Ward 1, Nnewi North Local Government Area, Moghalu encouraged citizens to come out and participate actively in strengthening democracy.
He emphasized that elections remain the most legitimate means through which the people can choose leaders who will represent their interests effectively.
“Today’s participation is not only an expression of civic responsibility but also a reaffirmation of my unwavering belief in the power of the ballot as the cornerstone of democracy,” he added
Moghalu was received by electoral officials, party supporters and members of his community who turned out in large numbers to exercise their franchise.
