Nigeria’s former President, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari is dead. According to a statement by the ex-President’s spokesman Garba Shehu, Buhari died in an undisclosed clinic in London.
He said: “The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London. May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin.”
Buhari had been battling undisclosed ailment in London even before his inauguration as president in 2015.
