Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra State Command has launched a new initiative aimed at enhancing standards in certified driving schools and promoting greater efficiency and transparency in the process of acquiring driver’s license in the state.

Sector Commander, Corps Commander Joyce Alexander in a statement said the Command in collaboration with Driving School Proprietors Association in the State has produced banners listing names of FRSC-certified driving schools to be displayed at all Driver’s License Centres across the state.

According to Alexander, the initiative is designed to achieve several key objectives, including educating the public and prospective drivers on recognized and FRSC-approved driving schools.

“Discouraging patronage of unregistered or substandard driving schools, thereby enhancing compliance with the Driving School Standardization Programme (DSSP).

“Reducing the incidence of fake or compromised training certificates by increasing visibility and awareness of legitimate training sources.

“Promoting accountability and professionalism within the driving school sector in Anambra State

“With this initiative, the FRSC Anambra State Command aims to reinforce the integrity of the National Driver’s License Scheme (NDLS) and advance the Corps’ overall road safety objectives.

“This effort is expected to contribute significantly to reducing road traffic crashes and promoting safer roads across the state.”
