The PFN boss spoke during celebration of 30 years anniversary in the Ministry and 17 years of consecration as a Bishop of Amb. Edith Elisha Ezenekwe (JP), the General Overseer, United Nation Ambassador for World Peace/ Brethren Gathering Ministry Inc, (Solution Ground), Obosi, Anambra State.

His words, “Why most men of God fail is because they arrongate to themselves power of God rather than ascribing whatever they archive to God.

“However, Christians should always reciprocate and appreciate their pastors through prayers, gifts, good advice and encouragement. Whatever a pastor, bishop, etc achieved is not by their efforts but by the grace of God.”

On the double celebration of Bishop Ezenekwe, the PFN boss remarked that it was worth celebration to give God thanks for keeping her alive up to this day and prayed that she would see more years as her mission on earth has not been completed.

In a congratulatory message to the celebrant by the Anambra State Labour Party, LP, governorship candidate, Chief Dr. George Moghalu, he prayed God to guide, guard and prolong the life of Bishop Ezenekwe to accomplish all her heart desires prior to leaving the sinful world.

Chief Moghalu, the immediate past Managing Director, MD, National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, expressed optimism that her evangelical mission on earth has impacted positively on scores of people and will continue to impact more to the glory of God.

In his contribution, pastor Samuel Agu, of Brethren Gathering Ministry Inc, said that Bishop Ezenekwe no doubt has demonstrated competence, passion, and loyalty to her calling.

His words, “Your leadership qualities and perseverance have inspired countless individuals to do the work of God. I leverage this medium to extend my sincerest thanks for having been the best mother and mentor all these years, your dedication to duty, promotion of peace ensuring harmony and unity amongst God and men is commendable.

“I pray God grants you peace, wisdom, courage, and good health in the service to God and humanity,” he prayed.

In her response, the host and celebrant, Bishop Ezenekwe traced the history of the church, (Brethren Gathering Ministry Inc) to 1994 when it was a house fellowship at No 5 Uba street, Nkpor.

“Today, it has grown into a vibrant Pentecostal movement known for its unwavering commitment to prayer, evangelism, and the demonstration of God’s power,” she added.

She did not rule out some challenges that would have frustrated her love for God adding that they are now history and recalled that one of such was her only daughter that God said she must have after she lost a baby girl at her early stage.

“Years ego after experiencing the painful loss of a daughter and considering the health challenges related to my child bearing, I and her husband decided to stop having more children.

“One night a voice came saying, my daughter I want to give you a baby daughter, name her ahead of time.. she named the unborn child Nzubechukwu, meaning, God’s purpose.

It was gathered that when she born the baby it was no human but a lump of blood that within six days in hospital, metarmophosed into full fledged human being and they returned home.

This acording to her is to show that God’s will must be done despite obstacles that may be associated with the order or will of God adding that the baby today is the baby of the family and always gives her joy when she sees her, recalling what she went through.

No fewer than 50 Bishops, apart from other men of God and scores of the faithful were in attendance during the celebration.

High point on the occasion was presentation of a jeep to the celebrant by the members of Brethren Gathering Ministry Inc led by Pastor Samuel Agu.
