Anambra Labour Party governorship candidate, Chief Dr. George Moghalu has condemned brutal assassination of President-General of Aguleri community, Barr Ifeanyi Iloakasia.
Iloakasia, popularly known as Rolex was shot alongside his client shortly after a court session in Ekwulobia.
Describing the attack as “cowardly and calculated,” Moghalu decried it as a serious setback to justice, peace, and community leadership in Anambra State.
He called for a swift and thorough investigation into the incident.
Moghalu, immediate past Managing Director, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) expressed concern over deteriorating security situation marked by frequent violent attacks across the state.
He urged the security agencies to intensify efforts to apprehend the perpetrators.
Moghalu called on government to implement robust security measures to safeguard citizens, legal practitioners, and community leaders.
Reaffirming his unwavering commitment to peace and justice, Moghalu insisted that the killers’ attempt to silence the voice of justice will not succeed.
