UTME Candidates in South East, Lagos to Resit Exam May 16, 2025

All the students without exception who sat for 2025 Joint Admission Matriculation Board examination within the South Eastern Nigeria and Lagos state would be retaking their 2025 JAMB examination this Friday, May 16, 2025.

The information was revealed this Thursday afternoon by the Anambra State Honourable Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor during an ABS radio /TV interactive /phone in program tagged “Ask the Commissioner” ‘.
According to him, The Management of JAMB has notified Anambra State Government that the 2025 Unified Tetiary Matriculation Examination which was cancelled because of technical glitches and errors on the part of JAMB servers has been re scheduled to hold tomorrow, Friday, May 16, 2025 at all the centers within South Eastern Nigeria States and Lagos state.

“We urge the churches, Traditional Rulers, Town Union Presidents General, Community Women and Youth Leaders, Markets, School Administrators and every group to help spread the information by placing announcements and if possible employing the services of town criers,” he said.

The Commissioner encouraged Parents and Guardians to prepare their children who sat for the cancelled JAMB UTME to go back to their centers with the appropriate documents that will give them access to retake the examination this Friday saying that JAMB is still apologizing for the past mistakes and inconveniences that may cause those affected.
