APGA DNA Reps Candidate Urges Women to Champion Peace, Unity, Moral Values

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for the Dunukofia, Njikoka and Anaocha (DNA) Federal Constituency, Barr. Prince Chukwudi Oli, has called on women in Enugwu-Ukwu, Anambra State, to remain united and continue promoting peace, love and strong moral values within their families and communities.

Oli, popularly known as Oba Ezeafia, made the appeal during the annual August Meeting of Enugwu-Ukwu women held at Obu Umunri Hall over the weekend, where he joined participants in celebrating their unity, cultural heritage and contributions to community development.

The event was attended by the traditional ruler of Enugwu-Ukwu, His Royal Highness Igwe Sir Ralph Ekpeh, who commended Oli for identifying with the women and supporting the community. The monarch also offered prayers and bestowed his royal blessing on the APGA aspirant, wishing him success in his future endeavours and continued service to the people.

Addressing the gathering, Oli described women as the foundation of strong families and key drivers of peace, unity and social development. He said mothers play a critical role in shaping values in the home, stressing that peaceful families are the bedrock of peaceful and prosperous communities.

He urged women to promote understanding, tolerance and genuine love in their homes, while encouraging mothers to lead by example. According to him, children develop their character largely through the values they observe at home.

The APGA House of Representatives aspirant called on mothers to uphold honesty, discipline, respect, kindness and integrity to raise responsible citizens and future leaders.

Oli said the strength and progress of any community depend largely on the quality of its families, urging women to avoid divisions, support one another and continue serving as agents of positive change.

He also commended the women for sustaining the annual August Meeting, describing it as an important platform for strengthening community bonds, preserving cultural heritage and discussing issues affecting families and grassroots development.

Oli further urged the women to remain ambassadors of peace in their homes, churches and the wider society, reiterating that mothers have a unique responsibility in shaping the character and future of younger generations.

He encouraged them to continue upholding the values of unity, peace, love, respect and good morals, noting that the future of every community begins with the values instilled in the home.
