Ogbaru Council Mayor Gives Ultimatum for Road Projects Completion Before Rainy Season

Chairman of Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, Chief Hon. Kenneth Akwuobi has charged road construction companies working on some roads in the council area to speed up their efforts.

Akwuobi made the charge during an inspection of the ongoing road construction projects in his council inspected on going works at Ogbaru LGA headquarter, Iyiowa Odekpe, Asha Street and School Road.

He said it has become necessary to speed up efforts before commencement of next rainy season.

He applauded the quality of work done so far by the contractors stressing the need to speed up in line with the time frame of the their respective contracts.

Some of the residents who hailed Hon Akwuobi also lauded the Anambra State governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo for keeping his promise to Ogbaru people as well as his efforts to ensure the roads were ready in no distance time.
