Engr. Udefi Hails Umuezeanya Youths’ on 10th Anniversary, Urges Support for New Regime

Former Chairman of Umuezeanya Youth Association, Chief Engr. Samuel Udefi has hailed the association for its incredible success story within its first decade of existence. He, however, stress the need for members to close ranks with the new administration to take the association to greater heights.
Udefi, made the remarks in his valedictory speech during the anniversary Award/Gala Night and Swearing in ceremony held on December 29, 2025.

“This organization, born from a vision of unity and progress, has spent a decade transforming our community. From humble beginnings, it has grown into a beacon of hope and a driving force for positive change. It’s an honor to celebrate the remarkable journey of the Umuezeanya Youth Association”, he said.

He paid tribute to the founding members and sponsors of the association such as High Chief Joseph Emeka Ekwealor, Chief Augustine Chidokwe Udefi, Alias Okaa Ogolo and others.
According to the him, the sacrifices made by the founding members contributed to its success story during its first 10 years of existence.

“Now, as we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on the countless achievements, the unwavering spirit, and the bright future that lies ahead. The Umuezeanya Youth Association stands as a testament to what we can achieve when we unite for a common purpose. Congratulations on a decade of transformative impact!”, he said.

Highpoint of the occasion was the presentation of awards to 17 members for their various contributions to the establishment, growth and success of the association over the last decade.

The event also featured swearing in of the new executive of Umuezeanya Youth Association which has Olisemeka Obeche and Osita Nneke as the chairman and Secretary respectively. Other Executive members who took oath of office at the event include Daniel Onukwuo (Vice Chairman), Odikpo Nwachukwu (Financial Secretary), Chinedu Victor Anikpeh (Treasurer), Augustine Okafor (Public Relations Officer), Ignatius Obadiegwu (PRO II), Amechi Chukwuma Nneke (Provost) and Chukwunwike Okeke (Director of Social).
