Anambra Patriots For Soludo (APS) has reassured Governor Chukwuma Soludo of its preparedness to deliver him at the November 8 governorship election in Anambra state.
Chairman of the group, Chief Damian Ejiamatu gave the assurance in Nise, Awka South local government area of the state where the two wards in his community unanimously decided that their votes are for Soludo.
Ejiamatu who was impressed with the large turn out of people, motivated the gathering with N2million, just as he promised another N2million for his kinsmen and women to mobilize for the Gov Soludo.
He also assured members of other political parties under the aegis of Renewed Hope that they would be carried along in the scheme of things.
According to Ejiamatu, other political parties decided to vote for Soludo due to his performance, challenging them to collapse all structures belonging to their former parties in the area in a week’s time.
“Go and collapse all the structures belonging to other political parties in Nise in the next one week. We are not ready to surrender a single vote to the candidates of other political parties on November 8,” he stressed.
Chief Bonny Ebutu, in his own comment said Nise people should endeavor to identify fully with APGA following full identification of APS boss with the party.
“I’m so impressed with the philanthropist gesture of Chief Ejiamatu; he is a major stakeholder of APGA in the State in general and Awka South in particular,” he said.
APGA State Chairman, Barr Ifatu Obiokoye expressed joy over pledge by Ejiamatu and his friends that Soludo would never lack, a promise he said the group had kept.
He appreciated the APS boss for his unprecedented support for the party in the State.
“I’ve been praying that God should give each local government area in the State a strong stakeholder. Chief Ejiamatu is answered prayers for Awka South LGA.
“I’m expect nothing less than 99.9% of all votes from Nise to be for Gov Soludo. Sincerely, Chief Ejiamatu entrance into APGA has made the job easy,” he stated.
He charged members to always put the Nise agenda at the back of their minds and be committed to their resolve to cast their votes for Soludo on November 8.
Deputy Governor of the State, Dr Ibezim Onyekachukwu also appreciated the APS helmsman for locking down Nise for Soludo’s reelection.
