Wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo has extended invitation to residents of the state to join her eat corn at the newly-commissioned Anambra Government House, popularly known as Light House.

Speaking while showcasing some fresh corns harvested from her garden in a trending video, the governor’s wife expressed satisfaction with the corns’ freshness and the ampleness, describing them as purely organic, other than GMO corns.

The first lady was seen in the video, harvesting some visibly-attractive corn from the garden, and eating the prepared corn with fresh pear at the Light House.

Speaking in vernacular, Soludo’s wife said, “We’re here to harvest corn. Anyone interested in eating corn should come this evening to the Light House. This is organic, not GMO corns.

“I decided to come to my farm and harvest some because of my desire for corn. Pears are ready, waiting.

“This is the way to go. Have corn farm, so that when you have desire for it, you’ll harvest some and eat.

The First Lady, who is also the Founder of Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, said, “this is another proof that we can always farm to feed. There’s no magic formula to it. All you need is just the will and determination.

“What are you still waiting for to have your own garden? Remember that every space can be a perfect place to grow what you eat. I look forward to seeing your own harvest soon.”
