Moghalu Hails Running Mate on Birthday, says She’s a Blessing to Anambra

Labour Party governorship candidate for the November 2025 Anambra election, Dr. George Moghalu, has extended warm birthday wishes to his running mate, Mrs. Ifeoma Veronica Okaro.

In a statement personally signed by him, Dr. Moghalu described Okaro as a woman of virtue, character, and enduring commitment to public service.

He hailed her as a beacon of purposeful leadership, praising her tireless efforts in education, community development, and women empowerment across the state.

“Your birthday is not only a celebration of life but an opportunity to recognize your decades of service, especially in championing girl-child education and mentoring young women.

Moghalu reaffirmed his confidence in her leadership, stating that having her as a running mate is a blessing to both his candidacy and the people of Anambra.

Described her as a symbol of the values his administration sought to restore accountability, compassion, and excellence, the LP flagbearer prayed for continued strength, good health, and grace upon her life.

Mrs. Okaro, a respected educationist from Ogbunike in Oyi Local Government Area, is the immediate past Chairman of the Post Primary Schools Service Commission.

She also serves as President of the ASATU Women Wing and is a former Education Director of the Diocese on the Niger.

Her career earned her the prestigious Presidential Award for Best Public Secondary School Administrator in Nigeria.
