A leading political figure in Anambra Central and foremost ally of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, Prince Obinna Ndigwe has pledged to secure a sweeping victory for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming November 8 governorship election.
Ndigwe made the declaration during a well-attended special event at his residence in Awka, where he was conferred with an international award by the Awka South Youth Home and Abroad Association, popularly known as Okolo N’eche Obodo.
Speaking at the event, Ndigwe praised Governor Soludo’s leadership, describing it as transformative and inspiring. He highlighted Soludo’s achievements in infrastructure, education, and youth-focused initiatives as key reasons for intensified support across Anambra Central.
“Governor Soludo’s leadership has brought a new direction to governance in Anambra. His focus on infrastructure, education, and youth empowerment is unmatched. It is only right that we stand firmly behind him going into the November elections,” he said.
Expressing profound gratitude to the association for the prestigious recognition, the APGA stalwart pledged renewed dedication to community growth and support for Soludo’s re-election bid.
Ndigwe, who also serves as the Zonal Coordinator of the Soludo Ambassadors in Anambra Central, emphasized that the group is mobilizing vigorously across all local governments in the zone to secure a landslide victory.
During the presentation ceremony, the Awka South Youth Chairman of the Anambra State Town Union Council (ASTUC), Hon. Ikechukwu Ezenna, and the ASTUC Vice Chairman, Hon. Chukwunenye Onuorah, praised Ndigwe’s contributions to youth development.
They noted that his efforts were key to the international recognition he has received and affirmed their support for his commitment to delivering Anambra Central to Governor Soludo in the upcoming November 8 Anambra gubernatorial election.
Other notable community stakeholders, including Rev. Chukwuemeke Ndife, Chief Okechukwu Nnebe, and Chief Kadibia Okafor, reaffirmed their support for Ndigwe and the Soludo administration, pledging continued mobilization efforts across the 33 villages of Awka in the lead-up to the election.
