Anambra State Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Sir Ifeatu Obi Okoye has called on members of Solution Witnesses to step up sensitisation of the people about Gov Soludo’s giant strides
The APGA boss made the call while receiving members of the Support Group on a courtesy visit to his office at the party’s Secretariat, Awka.
Ifeatu Obiokoye appreciated the support group for the visit, noting that it was in line with norms of party faithful and loyalists.
According to Sir Obiokoye, “three years Governor Soludo has performed incredibly well and I can vouch that the election is going to be free and fair. But one thing is that we must watch and monitor our votes at the polling units, at the ward level, to the collation centre and then to Awka until APGA is pronounced winner.
“APC knows they are not in the race and not win. They have two strong politicians but we are not deterred because APGA is rooted at the grassroots with pieces of evidence of infrastructural development, innovation and digital economy”.
“I encourage you all to continue to stand firm, putting all necessary structures on the ground, especially at the polling unit. Good enough the antecedents of Governor Obiano stand out and that is on which the Solution Governor is doing wonders to all spheres of human and societal development”.
“APGA will win twenty-one over twenty-one once proper voting counts. We realise you cannot rig people who do not want to be rigged and that is where we stand to educate Ndi Anambra. We want to win the election with Ideology, so guard your votes and polling units for our greater tomorrow “.
“I encourage you all to keep preaching the good gospel of Mr Governor. His Excellency Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo is a man of standard, and I encourage you to go out there and set the standard. APGA will continue to support and work in harmony, with you to achieve your goals”.
Earlier, Convener, Hon Valentine Ikenna Ezeuchegbu, said the visit was to familiarise with the Chairman and inform him of the group’s activities which have been ongoing for some time now.
He noted that Soludo’s Witnesses Support Group is also working in harmony with other support groups as well as APGA as a party.
He explained that the group’s mission and vision is to deliver the Governor because he has done well in infrastructural development.
“We are involved in a door-to-door campaign with the good gospel of our working Governor Soludo’s giant strides in Education, Health, Road Construction and Rehabilitation, Employment and Empowerment of thousands of Youths, Fun City Entertainment hub.
“He’s also done well in increased Revenue Generation, improved security architecture by introducing Agunechemba Security Outfits, now Anambra is Safe and salary payment among others.
“We cannot afford to lose such a Governor, we want to enlighten the people about his achievements and equally seek Ndi Anambra to vote for him again come November 8th, to make Anambra greater and sustainable.
