Six Criminal Suspects Arrested in Oko Poly, Notorious Cultist/Gun runner Declared Wanted

Six suspects have been arrested and detained by the police over alleged armed robbery and vandalism in Federal Polytechnic Oko community and environs in Orumba North LGA, Anambra state.

According to an official police report signed by the Anambra State Police Command’s PRO, Tochukwu Ikenga on Wednesday, one English pistol and vandalized electric cables were recovered in separate operations in the area.

He however said the Operatives have declared a manhunt for a notorious cultist and gunrunner known as Kiss Me, reiterating the Command’s commitment in denying criminals space to commit havoc in the state.

He said, “The Joint security team comprising the Police and Operatives of the Anambra State Vigilante continues with their security dominance operations in the three senatorial districts of the State.

“Following this, the security team has sustained their security offensive in the area, arrested six suspects over armed robbery and vandalism in Oko community and environs.

“The Operatives have also declared a manhunt for a notorious cultist and gunrunner known as Kiss me. They have also recovered one English pistol and vandalized electric cables in separate operations in the area.

“In the evening of 19th May, 2025, two suspects namely: Anagor Chinedu ‘M’ aged 25 years and Anagor Rapuluchukwu ‘M’ aged 23 years were arrested at Ifite village, Oko and one English Beretta pistol was recovered.

“The suspects confessed to being members of beggars’ confraternity and mentioned their Armourer as ‘kiss me’.

“Meanwhile, the Operatives have launched a manhunt operation aimed at dislodging the criminal group.

“In another development, the Operatives responded swiftly to a distress call of some miscreants sighted vandalizing electrical wires at the permanent site of the Federal Polytechnic Oko.

“The operatives arrested four suspects: one Chukwuka Usulor, Chukwuemeka Michael, Ikenna Oke and Ebuka Okeke. The Operatives recovered some assorted quantities of cable wires.

“The Command remains committed in denying the criminals the space to commit havoc.
