Hitch-free Ihiala Wedding, Tinubu’s visit Indication of Secured Anambra – CP

Anambra state Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu has commended the Police and other Security agencies for their improved coordination and resilience in enhancing Safety in the State.

He made the commendation following a hitch-free, well-attended dignitaries and Stakeholders’ weddings in Ihiala and hosting of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Awka.

Ihiala has been one of the local government areas in the state that had been under siege having been captured by the unknown gunmen.

But in a statement by Command spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga, the CP said his commendation reflected his appreciation for the security agencies, also to Ndi Anambra for their support/cooperation.

He said, “Anambra State is safe having witnessed a hitch-free, well-attended dignitaries and Stakeholders’ weddings in Ihiala and hosting of the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria today, 8th May 2025 at Awka, the State Capital.

“The event also had in attendance the Deputy Inspector General of Police DIG Ben Nebolisa Okolo fdc, representing the Inspector General of Police.

“To this end, the Police Command believes that prioritizing security coordination and collaboration is a proactive approach to addressing security concerns and promoting a safer, more secure environment for all.”
