Soludo Attacking Obi to Curry Tinubu’s Assistance in Rigging November 8 poll – Anambra Prophet

Head, Soul Revival Outreach, Nnewi in Nnewi North LGA of Anambra State, Prophet Ikechukwu Uzukwu has criticized the Anambra State governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo for attacking Mr Peter Obi.

Uzukwu who was speaking with journalists on Sunday said Soludo should not try to compare himself with Obi who won many laurels for his outstanding qualities and leadership style.

“The gap between Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for Labour Party (LP) in the last general elections is massive. Soludo should not assume that President Bola Tinubu will rig the November 8 governorship election in his favour if he starts attacking the former governor.

“It’s true that Mr Obi went abroad and decried the level of hunger and starvation in Nigeria, only for Gov Babajide Sanwo-Olu to make attempt to justify the reality on ground today in Nigeria.

“In doing that, he took a swipe on Obi, unfortunately, Soludo also latched on that to attack the Anambra State former governor, interestingly, Mr Peter Obi has so much respect for President Tinubu.

“In his first term in office, he said he was going to run an administration that would make things easier for his successor just like Tinubu did for Babatunde Raji Fashola,” he noted.

The prophet expressed worry that the incumbent governor of Anambra State is in the habit of replying his critics which according to him never happened during the days of Mr Peter Obi as the governor.

Prophet Uzukwu described Gov Soludo’s attempt to reply all his critics as political immaturity noting that what is expected of a governor is to listen and act on the areas he is being criticized on.

“I guess Gov Soludo is doing that to curry favour from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to help him rig the November 8, Anambra State governorship election, the President Tinubu, I know very well, will not rig election in favour of anybody, he is a thorough bred democrat. He is not a ‘Khaki boy wearing agbada’.

“The so much touted security exploits of Gov Soludo are paid for by the communities in the state, in Ukpor in Nnewi South LGA for example, the community is paying a whooping nineteen million Naira monthly for security. One begins to wonder what happens to the huge monthly security votes Gov Soludo is receiving from the federal government.

“It’s on record that Sen Ifeanyi Ubah was also paying the security operatives in Nnewi zone before his demise, Ndi-Anambra have never slept with their two eyes closed since the incumbent governor came on board.

“Even the introduction of Agunechemba security outfit has not helped matters, most of the operatives are not properly profiled nor trained, accidental discharges have become part of the characteristics of the Soludo’ Agunechemba group.

“My lawyer is even handling a case of a boy killed by stray bullet from one of Agunechemba security operatives in Onitsha, under the watch of Prof Charles Soludo, Anambra State has become a big grave yard.

“If the touts he put on Anambra roads are not pursuing people to death, the ‘security persons’ he employed are sending people to their early graves through accidental discharges, this is not acceptable,” Prophet Uzukwu asserted.
