A new Resident Electoral Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been appointed in Anambra state in the person of Dr Queen Elizabeth Agwu.
The Head of Department, Voter Education and Publicity, Mr George Edeani, in a release, said Agwu had already assumed duties at the INEC Headquarters, Awka.
He explained that the new REC was received on arrival by the Administrative Secretary of the Commission, Mr Jude Okwuonu and other management staff.
