Anambra NYCN Boss Applauds Soludo’s Youth Empowerment Drive, Pledges Partnership

The Anambra State Coordinator of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Nonso Nwaebili, Esq., has commended the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo for its commitment to youth empowerment and human capital development.

Nwaebili made the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Anambra State House of Assembly, where he led members of the NYCN State Executive Council to meet with the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze.

The youth leader also pledged the council’s readiness to partner with the state government in advancing programmes and policies aimed at empowering young people across Anambra.

According to Nwaebili, the visit was an opportunity to formally introduce his executive team to the Speaker, whom he described as a father and leader, while seeking opportunities for mentorship, collaboration and partnership.

“I am here as an indigene to see my father, learn from Mr. Speaker about good leadership, and explore ways to partner with the Soludo administration,” Nwaebili said.

He praised the Udeze-led legislature for its role in passing motions and laws supporting youth development, describing the Assembly as a key contributor to the stability and progress recorded under the Soludo administration.

“We commend the good leadership of Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze in passing motions and laws that have contributed to youth empowerment in Anambra State,” he said.

Nwaebili further acknowledged the staff of the State House of Assembly for their support and cooperation with his mother, former Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinwe Nwebili, during her tenure.

He expressed confidence that the NYCN would play a meaningful role in supporting the state government’s development agenda.

“Therefore, we are going to contribute our quota toward carrying Anambra to greater heights,” he added.

The NYCN coordinator’s remarks underscore the council’s intention to strengthen collaboration between the state’s youth leadership, the legislature and the executive in promoting sustainable youth development and empowerment.
