Bishop Ezeofor Blames Nigerians’ Hardships on Poor Economic Policies

Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Rt Rev Samuel Ezeofor has called on federal government to focus more on programmes and projects that have direct bearing on the masses.

Ezeofor who made the call in his Christmas message regretted the hardships Nigerians are passing through which he blamed on poor economic policies and called for measures to address such.

The prelate who doubles as the National Chairman of the Evangelical fellowship in the Anglican Communion (EFAC) also expressed worry over the high level of kidnappings, and banditry in the country as a result of in security.

He called for strategic measures to improve the security network of the country to restore the hope of the people in the Nigerian project.

Ezeofor who spoke extensively on the significance of Christmas, called on affluent individuals to always remember the downtrodden this Christmas and beyond.

He stressed the need for the people to always engage in those activities that will promote peaceful coexistence warning against acts that will make Christmas lose its concept and meaning.

The Message endorsed by Director of Media and Communications, Mr Abuchi Nwozor urged Nigerians to always anchor their faith and believe in God despite daunting challenges confronting the nation.

He reminded them that every problem has expiry date and wished Nigerians remarkable Christmas and prosperous 2026.
